LCD screen dead pixel policy
LCD screen dead pixel policy
Thin-film transistor (TFT) liquid crystal displays (LCDs) contain many TFTs. Regardless of the manufacturer, the presence of a small number of missing, discolored, or always-on dots or pixels is a characteristic of TFT LCD technology due to the manufacturing process of TFT LCD technology.
If your LCD has 3 or fewer visible defective pixels, it should not be considered a malfunction.
Dead pixels are not a sign of poor quality. This is part of the LCD manufacturing process. LCD manufacturers do not consider screens with 1-3 dead or dead pixels to be defects.
For systems equipped with ThinkPad Privacy Guard LCD panels, ePrivacy technology produces certain visual effects that may appear as slight discoloration, unevenness, and/or tiny spots (depending on the background color). This effect can be seen when the privacy filter is turned on or off, and is typical for this technology throughout the industry. Most manufacturers have strict regulations on the acceptable size and number of these visual effects. If customers have questions or concerns about this LCD technology, please contact our support for further assistance.
Most manufacturers do not consider less than 3 dead pixels to be a defect or warranty issue. Please review the relevant policies below:
Lenovo Thinkpad
Dell
Hp
Apple
Nevertheless, if you are not completely satisfied with the quality of the screen you purchased, and if it is within the warranty period, it can be replaced upon request. You are welcome to return or exchange the screen。
Please remember that the customer is responsible for all costs related to shipping.
Please log in to your account and create a support ticket. We will issue an RMA number and send you shipping instructions via email. Please make sure to indicate your RMA number on the box before sending the screen to us, -
